Fermata collects written consent for marketing messages via text-based confirmation.

Users initiate contact by messaging our WhatsApp number. Before any marketing messages are sent, users are presented with the following opt-in prompt:

“Welcome to Love Bird! You’ll receive notifications about casting updates and episode drops. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

Users must reply YES to provide written consent.

After consent, users receive a confirmation message:

All consent records (phone number, timestamp, and message content) are stored and linked to the user’s phone number.
